Doomed to Repeat is a strip that focuses on the interactions of historical and mythical characters from different time periods that live among us in present day. I choose to not explain the cast’s co-existence. It’s just funnier that way.



The Cast

The Myth — Carl

The Sasquatch. Bigfoot. Very tall guy. Call him what you will. He's a living superstition in a world of people that don't usually believe what's right in front of them anymore.

The Relic — Edward

The pirate. Edward Teach, alias Blackbeard. He's the former scourge of the seven seas who's become outdated and uncomfortable.

The Observer — Pepé

Edward's trusty sidekick and pet cockatoo. Pepe is the mostly silent spectator, whose eyes tell the whole story. He can talk, but honestly what's the point?

The Realist — Joan

The Feet on the ground. The Rock. She's Joan of Arc, former heroine and warrior who embraces the changing world with no regard to fashion.

The Cursed Monster — Sam

The infamous Unsinkable Sam. He's The black cat that jinxed every ship he sailed on, and now he's gained the affections of Carl and Joan. Things might explode at random.
